A Whirlwind Year In The Life Of This Writer

A year ago today, Harriet Bourton phoned me to see if I’d be interested in writing a digital first series for Transworld Publishing.
I was. Very.
Since then we have written two complete novels together, edited a third, planned a fourth in for 2016 (drafted but not edited), designed ten book covers, celebrated five publication dates and had many, many laughs.
The first part of my new ebook serial Appleby Farm launches four weeks today and the Ivy Lane paperback launches five weeks today and so far it looks like being another amazing year.

Harriet Bourton, I’d just like to say that I’m so glad you called.

By Cathy Bramley

Cathy is the author of the best-selling romantic comedies Ivy Lane, Appleby farm, The Lemon Tree Cafe and A Vintage Summer. She lives in a Nottinghamshire village with her family and Pearl, the Cockerpoo. Her recent career as a full-time writer of light-hearted romantic fiction has come as somewhat of a lovely surprise after spending eighteen years running her own marketing agency. However, she has always been an avid reader, hiding her book under the duvet and reading by torchlight. Now she thinks she may have found her dream job.
