When Lucy, Jack and Dylan meet on a beach in Devon, a friendship begins that will last a lifetime.

Over the next twenty years, Dylan rises to stardom and becomes a famous popstar, whilst Jack and Lucy take over the family farm and have a son, Sam – but then an accident changes everything.

And so, even with Christmas fast approaching, Lucy is feeling far from festive. Running Merrydown Farm singlehandedly was never in the plan, and she’s exhausted.
