Ivy Lane Series Wins Awards!

A number of people have issued lists of their favourite books of 2015  on their blogs and I’m delighted to feature on three such lists. Thank you so much to Agi of On My Bookshelf and Laura of Little Northern Soul.

First up is Agi. She read 211 books last year and I’m thrilled that she counts Ivy Lane as one of her top ten. She says: There is everything you could wish for in a book, humour, sadness, love, friendship, hope, together with fantastic writing and brilliant characters.

You can read her full review here.

Laura Holdsworth is a fan of Ivy Lane too and in her opinion it was one of the ‘best serials of the year’. She also called me the Queen of the serials, which I’m hoping catches on! She says: The story is beautifully written, set on an allotment which is an usual and brilliant location and is just a genuinely lovely, heart-warming read.

Laura’s blog post is here.

IMG_3172Another of my books, Conditional Love also proved popular with Laura; it made it onto her ‘best romance 2015’ list. She says: Conditional Love is a special, charming novel that I just can’t stop thinking about. It’s brilliant.

I’ve had amazing support from bloggers this year – and actually, from other authors too. Thank you to Agi and Laura and thanks too to everyone who has bought these books, passed them onto friends tweeted your enjoyment and sent me your words of encouragement. It means an awful lot.

Cathy Bramley
By Cathy Bramley

Cathy is the author of the best-selling romantic comedies Ivy Lane, Appleby farm, Conditional Love, Wickham Hall and The Plumberry School of Comfort Food. She lives in a Nottinghamshire village with her family and Pearl, the Cockerpoo. Her recent career as a full-time writer of light-hearted romantic fiction has come as somewhat of a lovely surprise after spending eighteen years running her own marketing agency. However, she has always been an avid reader, hiding her book under the duvet and reading by torchlight. Luckily her husband has now bought her a Kindle with a light, so that’s the end of all that palaver.
