My Talk – Lowdham, Nottinghamshire, Friday June 5!

We are very lucky, where I live, to have a marvellous independent book shop on our doorstep called The Bookcase. It’s a great little shop run by the extremely knowledgeable Jane Streeter and her team and between them they can find you the perfect book to suit your tastes.

As well as selling books, cards and gifts, Jane organises ‘First Friday’ events in the local church hall in Lowdham village. These events take the form of talks by authors or local figures of interest and was delighted to be invited to speak.

I will be there on Friday 5th June. The event starts at 2pm and lasts for around an hour and a half. Tickets cost £5 (cheaper for concessions) and the price includes tea and cake!
