Review of Conditional Love in Nottingham’s Left Lion Magazine
The first author interview I read in Nottingham’s Left Lion Magazine had me hooting with laughter. I’m not going to say who it was with, but the article was very tongue-in-cheek and the author didn’t come off particularly well in it. Hence my apprehension when James Walker agreed to review Conditional Love in January. When the review didn’t appear, I told myself that it was perhaps just as well. However, a friend spotted a copy of the august issue when he was in a bar on Friday night and lo and behold – my review was in!
He sent me a very blurry picture (it was late at night) of the page and I could just make out the first line: This is a master-class in how to self-publish. I breathed a sigh of relief.
